Terms Of Use
Effective Date
I. Introduction and Definitions
A. Readability and Clear Language Statement
Wherever possible, these terms of use will use readable, common language. In the case of ambiguity, specific questions may be sent to legal@redspaceinteractive.com for clarification.
B. Company Name
Throughout this website, the name "Redspace Interactive" is used as a shortened name for the registered Limited Liability Company "Redspace Interactive LLC". This LLC is registered in Michigan according to the relevant laws. It is to be assumed that wherever the text "Redspace Interactive" is used, "Redspace Interactive LLC" is being referenced. Throughout the rest of these terms, and the Privacy Policy found on this website, the term "Company" may be used in place of either the shorthand or the full LLC name.
C. Definitions
The following terms are used throughout both this site and related social media accounts: "Indie Studio", "Indie Game Studio", "Indie Game Developer", and other variations. This term is used to refer to the Company and the Company's owner. The underlying meaning of these terms is that the Company is not owned by any other entity, nor does it receive outside funding from other companies such as Development Studios, Publishers, or other Business Entities. That being said, these terms do not rule out the possibility that such funding may eventually exist, or that the ownership structure may change in the future. If such changes do happen, these changes will be noted here and this page will be updated. The term "Indie" will continue to be used as long as business decisions, roadmaps, and content is ultimately under direct control and influence by this Company alone.
II. Usage of this Website

B. Content on this Website
All content on this website belongs exclusively to Redspace Interactive LLC (the Company) and you agree to not infringe on copyright, trademark, or other exclusive rights reserved by the Company. Unless otherwise noted, all logos, images, and text belongs to the Company and may not be used without written permission.
C. Third Party Content
Certain logos, images, and trademarks are used on this website that belong to other entities, including, but not limited to Patreon, Ko-fi, Valve, and various social media accounts. If you wish to use these marks, please contact the respective owners of these marks.
D. Safe Harbor Statement
All content provided on this website regarding the ongoing development of games, software, or other digital goods or services is for informational and entertainment purposes only. Due to the nature of development, certain features of each of these are subject to change at any time. No statement, imagery, or other media about works-in-progress is meant as a complete and final representation of the work to be released. Do note that the intention of these changes is never to mislead, misconstrue, or otherwise misrepresent the work. Works-in-progress may change significantly from what is shown in development.
III. Copyright, Trademark and Works in Progress
A. Works-in-Progress and Copyright
All Works-in-Progress are shown with the express purpose of informing the public on the development process of various games, software, and other digital goods or services. All work that is produced solely by the Company, and any work solicited by the Company, belongs to the Company exclusively, according to all applicable laws, unless additional agreements exist with artists, developers, or other vendors.
All software, tools, assets, images, or other content licensed to the Company falls under the terms and conditions, contracts, or licenses of each. These terms only supersede in cases where the original agreements are silent.
B. Good Faith Response to Copyright and other Legal Claims
During prototyping phases, some placeholder content may be used that the Company has not licensed. However, such content would not be included in the final release of any game, software, or tool, unless the appropriate license were purchased for its use, if it falls under fair use, whether it is in the public domain, or is not otherwise restricted for commercial use.
If you have evidence that any such placeholder content has been used, that you own the exclusive legal right to, please submit a claim via legal@redspaceinteractive.com. Please include references to the public post, video, or other content in question, with specific URLs, timecodes, and/or other identifying information. If the claim is justified, every reasonable effort will be made to remove the content from active projects, or to acquire the appropriate license for its continued use. However, no guarantee is made to remove such placeholder content from publicly available posts, videos, or other media that is primarily intended to communicate information or to entertain that involves the works in progress.
However, the intent of the Company is always to respect the Copyright holder, and if any of the placeholder content is significantly placed on video thumbnails, primary images for posts, or other marketing, advertising, or social media, the Company will make every reasonable effort to replace, obscure, and if no better alternative exists, remove said media that features said placeholder content.
